A Message to Students Using Personality: A Systems Approach Fall, 2006

Dear Students:

I am just beginning this site. My first priority, until recently, was to get the textbook finished, and to help support instructors who are using the textbook for the first time in their classes.

Now that that the book is published and in use, however, I wanted to open up a line of communication with students using the textbook. This site represents a beginning of that conversation.

To those taking the course Fall, 2006, I am glad to have a beginning site on the web through which I can say hello to you. You are the first students to use the first, nationwide Allyn & Bacon edition of the textbook. That makes you very up-to-date regarding personality psychology.

Although things can't be as personal as in my own course, I would like to greet you here, and say that I hope you are enjoying the book and your courses.
